These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Verdiq Book (the "Service"), operated by Verdiq Tech ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Contact us at sean@verdiqtech.com.
1. The Service
Verdiq Book provides solo service providers (cleaners, landscapers, dog walkers, tutors, and similar businesses) with a dedicated phone number that their clients can text or call to request bookings. We use the number to receive SMS and voicemails on the provider's behalf, parse them with an automated assistant, and either schedule the booking or escalate it to the provider for review. Providers configure services, availability, and pricing through a web dashboard.
2. Accounts
Providers create an account by verifying their phone number via SMS one-time code. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for any activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. SMS Messaging
The Service sends SMS messages on behalf of providers, including booking confirmations, reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before scheduled appointments, rescheduling notices, and replies to client messages. By providing your phone number to a provider through the Service — by texting the provider's number, by submitting your number on a public booking page, or by replying YES to a one-time consent prompt — you consent to receive these transactional SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies by booking activity and is typically 1–4 messages per booking.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL to any message. Reply HELP or INFO for assistance. We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party content through this Service.
4. Provider Responsibilities
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their listed services, prices, and availability, for honoring confirmed bookings, and for complying with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction (including consumer-protection, tax, and licensing rules). Providers represent that they have a lawful basis to communicate with the clients they add to the Service.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate information when booking and to honor confirmed appointments. Repeated no-shows or cancellation patterns may result in a provider declining future bookings.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to send spam, harass others, transmit unlawful content, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or use automated tools to send messages outside of the booking flow. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. Service Availability
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verdiq Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
