Privacy Policy

Verdiq Tech ("we", "us") operates Verdiq Book, an SMS-first booking platform. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Contact us at sean@verdiqtech.com.

1. Information We Collect

From providers: phone number, display name, business name, time zone, services offered, availability, and any client records the provider creates or imports (client phone numbers, names, visit instructions, notes).

From clients: phone number, message content, voicemail recordings and transcripts, booking history (service, date, time, address if provided), and any information clients share with the booking assistant during the conversation.

Automatically: service logs (request timestamps, error messages), delivery status from our SMS carrier, basic device and connection metadata.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide the Service. Schedule bookings, send confirmations and reminders, parse inbound messages, deliver replies.
• Operate the booking assistant. Inbound messages are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) to parse intent and transcribe voicemails. We do not use your data to train third-party models.
• Maintain reliability and security. Service logs are used to diagnose issues and detect abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your information. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this Service.

3. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers required to operate the Service:

• Twilio (SMS and voice carrier) — phone numbers, message content, recordings.
• Anthropic and OpenAI (AI processing) — message content and voicemail audio for parsing and transcription.
• Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Render (background worker), Axiom (logs) — data stored at rest and in transit through these vendors.

Each vendor processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security commitments.

4. Retention

We retain provider and client records for as long as the provider's account is active. Bookings and conversation history are retained to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting sean@verdiqtech.com — we will delete what we can while honoring legal-retention obligations.

5. Security

We use row-level security to isolate provider data, transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic, and access controls on our database and admin tools. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please report it to sean@verdiqtech.com.

6. Your Choices

• Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT, or CANCEL.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing sean@verdiqtech.com.
• Providers can edit or remove their own client records and booking history through the dashboard.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
